Family owned and operated, USave Rentals is headed by father and son, Bruce and Andrew Strong. The family established their rental car services over 15 years ago, to provide travellers with an alternative to more expensive, multi-national rental organisations.

The Team

Our staff is professional, efficient and friendly and can offer you local insight and advice about your driving and travelling in New Zealand. They will also be able to provide you with baby or child seats, snow chains and ski racks, which are available to hire.

The team at USave Rentals is led by:

Bruce Strong: Managing Director
Bruce started his working life in the clothing industry, but has spent the last twenty years in the New Zealand rental cars business and motoring trade. It was his family's vision to provide quality, but cheap car rental in New Zealand to travellers from overseas and New Zealand.

Andrew Strong: Sales and Marketing Director
Andrew has been a director in the Strong Group of Companies for the last ten years. Andrew, a speaker of fluent Japanese, began his career with the Bank of New Zealand and joined forces with his father, Bruce, in 1997.

Murray Esau: Auckland City Manager
Murray joined the team in 2002. Murray is a qualified mechanic and has been involved in the rental cars industry for the last ten years. If you're renting your car from our Auckland branch, Murray will be only too happy to give you some tips on the best fishing spots in the country.

Melissa Kalotapu: Christchurch Supervisor
Melissa has been with the company since 2001 and worked in our Auckland city office before transferring to Christchurch. Subsequently, Melissa has excellent knowledge of both of New Zealand's islands, which she's happy to share with you.
